Engraving is one of the few wedding details that outlives everything else. The Ring Enchantment Sigil turns your two names and your wedding date into a single mark built to be cut into metal: a custom sigil, generated from your own letters and numbers rather than chosen from a font.

It is the one tool in this collection designed to leave the screen. Give it both your first names and your wedding date, and it produces the sigil as files you can hand to an engraver. Nothing is emailed or stored on our side; the files are generated in the browser and handed straight to you.

How the sigil is drawn

The method is systematic rather than random. Both first names are reduced to their unique consonants, and your wedding date contributes its unique digits. Those symbols are then plotted evenly around a circle and joined in sequence as one continuous closed stroke, which is what gives the finished mark its hand-drawn feel without any part of it being left to chance.

Two consequences are worth knowing. First, the sigil is reproducible: the same two names and the same date always produce the same mark. Second, it is genuinely personal — change a name or move the date and the geometry changes with it, rather than producing a near-identical variation.

The sigil is generated as a vector path, which means no artwork pipeline and no waiting for a file to be prepared by hand. After checkout you can download it two ways.

A vector file (SVG). The engraver-ready option: infinitely scalable, with clean lines that a laser or a hand engraver can follow directly.

A high-resolution image (PNG). For anything that is not an engraver — a print, a label, a phone background, or a preview to send to the jeweller before committing. People often send the PNG first to check the mark still reads clearly at ring size before ordering the cut.

Taking it to an engraver

Will any jeweller accept the SVG?

Most will, and some will want the PNG instead. Download both so you have the option whichever way the workshop prefers.

Can it be engraved inside a ring band?

That is the usual use. Send the files ahead and ask what size the inner band allows before you settle on the detail level.

What if our initials have repeated letters?

Repeated consonants appear once rather than twice, which is what keeps the stroke clean and the mark readable at small sizes.

Is the purchase refundable?
